It creates a fictionalised solution to a famous unsolved LA murder from 1946. Mostly it is told through the eyes of two detectives - and shows considerable police corruption. | | The movie creates LA from the 1940's convincingly, but it is sometimes violent and I found it difficult to follow all the details of the plot. The ending does not fit well - or else I have misunderstood more. Another viewing would fill in detail - but I don't think I am interested enough for that. |  The Black Dahlia Detectives | | | |
