The plan of our block

Here is an accurate plan of the block with the house, swimming pool, twin guest rooms and staff room and carport.  Clearly, we have plenty of garden space around the house and a significant challenge (starting January) will be to get a landscaping plan, and begin the work.

Guest and Staff houses

The detailed plan of the house is on the left, and the main changes we have made are:

1. The default Buka plan has been flipped over (mirror image) in the eastwest direction
   
2. The bathroom of the eastern bedroom sticks out from the south wall (rather than from the  east wall) in order to give a clearer view of the sea from the terrace of the guest rooms.
3. The eastern bedroom and the central bedroom are both one metre deeper (north-south) than in the original plan.  This has meant that the swimming pool is pushed one metre forward to maintain depth on the terrace
4. The original plan had the kitchen separate from the laundry/store - but we have left them flow together - our laundry will be between the two guestrooms
5. The pool now includes a jacuzzi where the steps are so that steps into the pool are either side of the jacuzzi
   
6. The radial boards of the decking have been trimmed back slightly so as not to overlap the pool since this would have restricted access to the pool steps on the west side of the jacuzzi
